I am a hard-liner on that. I stick to Vattel’s definition (born inside the country to two CITIZEN parents)
Any honest student of history will admit that Vattel was THE authority on citizenship and international law in the late 1700’s. The Founders looked to his “Law of Nations” for advice because he was the accepted expert o the day.
BTW, the Vattel definition excludes Mitt Romney s well.
