Ever wonder how chickens get their fears recognized on the public square? They put an idea out there and call it ridiculous hoping that someone else will pick up the idea and run with it.

Newt said nothing about conspiracy..yet politics, by it's nature, is conspiratorial. Example..we, together on FR, conspire to get Newt elected. The difference here is we have our rituals of eating Frito's and spilling liquid on our keyboards by moonlight, rather than getting together at Florida hobnob parties and playing twister.

Me thinks Jeb doth protest too much.

Yep. The presidency is a big job, and as much as people like to think of a president as doing ‘everything”, so much of the major work (at least initially) is done by subordinates. That was one of the many reasons Reagan was so successful- he knew how to select first-class staffers.

Almost everybody associated with Romney thus far has given me much cause for concern.
