It's a business for Rush; he's trying to keep all of his listeners happy; but, he's not really doing anything to help Newt and has done some damage of late.

I know Rush has a huge audience and likely has some Romney supporters amongst his listeners as well as Santorum supporters. Rush wants and needs to at least keep his market share to keep his profits up. I can understand that; I just hate his duplicity after all his previous histrionics that've gotten everyone so churned up they believe it's the end of the world if we can't elect a Conservative. So, now that the primaries are here, suddenly, Rush can't seem to endorse either Newt or Santorum over arch-liberal Romney. Does that make any sense? Of course it doesn't.

My conclusion is that this election cannot be as life or death important as Rush opined over the past many months if he can't make the simple decision to call out Romney for what he is ...a liberal, a liar and a phony.

I think Rush's job is to keep the Conservative base fired up for the GOP-E so that we can then be stampeded at the last moment into supporting whatever candidate they foist on us. They do it every time; and then blame us when they lose ...as they did when McCain lost. No one can convince me there is a significant difference between Romney and Obama; they're both evil and dangerous to the Republic; but, Romney could well be worse; especially if he has a complicitous group of GOP elitists in the House and Senate.

So, what does all this get us if we vote for Romney? The same thing voting for Dole and McCain did; nothing. Isn't this the same as the old proverb that defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result? They're using us as pawns and they will never respect us if we keep giving in to them. It's like the wife or girlfriend who gets beaten by her husband/boyfriend and keeps coming back for more because they believe he loves them. Sad. I'm not playing that game anymore; I am going rogue if Romney is nominated; I've given them over 40 years of consistent voting support at the local, state and federal levels; that's more than enough.

If the GOP elitists want Romney so badly they are willing to cheat and totally negate my choices (GOP elites have locked the VA primary so that Romney and Ron Paul are the only ones on the ballot ...I can't even write in Newt!); that's fine; but, they can do it w/o my vote. I will lodge a protest vote of some kind and try to get as many Tea Party Conservatives elected at the local, state and Congressional levels.

So, as one of my old bosses liked to say; “Sir, we're in violent agreement upon that!”

Well stated! I didn’t appreciate Rush’s dodge or humor when he told that one caller who asked him how he was going to cast his Florida ballot, and Rush replied that his brother David was for Santorum. Nice to know that brother David is an idiot, but Rush is too much iof a chicken or weasel to take a stand! Either this election is a “do or die” or it isn’t.

How can the liberal who lost to the moderate who lost to the Marxist expect to beat the Marxist in 2012?

I won’t vote for Romney!

GO NEWT!

100% Agree. If Mittens is forced upon us, I am going rogue.

Wife suggested as a write in “RINOs KMA”.
