Not only that ( not building new power plants) they are removing several hydro-electric dams “to save the fish”.
Auto makers should just abandon the state. It will look like Cuba in a few years.

What we’ve learned from history is that we don’t learn anything from history. The world has already forgotten the millions of Soviet citizens who died during the 1930s when their Communist government interfered with their food supply, and millions died again in the 1950s when China’s Communist government disrupted China’s food supply.
History is once again repeating its self, as leftists are once again interfering with the food supply, and once again people are dying. Obama’s leftist administration is pushing the use of E85 alcohol-gasoline with no regard to what this is doing to the world’s food supply. So far, the people who are dying as a result of this disruption of the food supply by American leftists are not, as yet, American. American leftists (read Democrats) get that “feel good” feeling over reduced carbon emissions as a result of their use of E85 fuel, and just as Soviet and Chinese Communists of the past showed a complete disregard for the deaths of those who died as a result of their interference with the food supply, American leftists now show a complete disregard for the people dying as a result of their use of this E85 alcohol-gasoline.
American leftists don’t seem to care that the amount of grain required to manufacture enough alcohol to fill the fuel tank on one E85 SUV could feed a person for one year, and they don’t seem to care that the removal of this food from the world food market has caused a shortage resulting in the price of food to almost double around the world. Rising food prices causes some inconvenience for these American leftists, but in the poorest countries of the world those who could only afford to eat twice a day can now only afford to eat once a day. This reduced diet in the world’s poorest countries is destroying the health of an already weakened people and is especially deadly among their nursing mothers. Many nursing mothers who could previously produce enough milk to feed their babies now under a reduced diet can’t produce enough milk and their babies die.
Just as the Communists of the past had no feeling for what their misguided food programs did to people, American leftist don’t seem to care that every time they fill their E85 SUV’s gas tank, somewhere in one of the world’s poorest counties a baby dies.
But, then, American leftists (read Democrats) have a long, proud history of choosing to kill babies, now don’t they?
Wait, there's no electric power to recharge the batteries and run the plant because we destroyed the three hydroelectric dams on the Klamath River (northern CA) and we've been decommissioning power plants to buy our electricity out of state. Ooops. Those suppliers cut us off. Oh, oh.
