I havent seen Drudge’s site for years.
I deleted bookmarks to Drudge and use Breitbart.com now

Actually a few months ago I decided Drudge had gone downhill a lot. Articles seem to stay up longer than they used to, and also there seemed to be quite a few more fluff pieces “deer chases boy” - that kind of thing - than there used to.
Main thing is, though, having just about the whole site vilifying Newt was unprecedented there, and that is from a guy that used to visit the page at least 3 times a day, for a long, long time - since him getting 15M hits a month was a big deal.

I have been freeping for well over 10 years —I think I signed up 30 days after FR was born.
I don’t like Romney at all —I want NEWT.
But do people REALIZE how much Drudge has helped us?
Ann was nutty, so they said SCREW ANN —she has helped us a lot also.
And now they want to throw Drudge overboard, too —THIS IS RIDICULOUS.
I’m avoiding him now that I know he has cooties.

There might be some really eye-opening stuff about to come out that, who knows, might explain this recent, unprecedented pile-on. Birds of a feather, and such. I mean, PennState and who knows what.
I used to check Drudge about 20 times a day and even bought items on occasion by clicking through his ads, which is what counts. Screw Matt Drudge. I am done with his site. If there is anything noteworthy, Rush will talk about it or eventually makes its way to other conservative news sites and blogs.
The only times I have ever gone to Drudge is if someone on here posts a link. So I guess I will never do that again.
Never saw a reason to go to Drudge when the story and good commentary will be here on FR.

Drudge is now gone from my bookmarks, gone from the shortcut on my desktop, why is it still on the FR welcome page as a link under “MEDIA LINKS”?
