Most babies can take a pretty good fall (rolling off the bed etc). I seriously doubt the extent of the abuse as two slaps and a fall..
You are right.In order for a baby to suffer the injuries this one has in a fall it would have to be from a second floor onto concrete head first which is no what happened.It sounds like he shook the baby then probably slammed him head first onto the table
