SAN FRANCISCO - Cynthia Nixon learned the hard way this week that when it comes to gay civil rights, the personal is always political. Very political.

While the broader gay rights movement recognizes that human sexuality exists on a spectrum, and has found common cause with transgender and bisexual people, Nixon may have unwittingly given aid and comfort to those who want to deny same-sex couples the right to marry, adopt children and secure equal spousal benefits, said Jennifer Pizer, legal director of the Williams Institute on Sexual Orientation and the Law, a pro-gay think tank based at the University of California, Los Angeles.
One of the factors courts consider in determining if a law is unconstitutional is whether members of the minority group it targets share an unchangeable or "immutable" trait, Pizer noted. Although the definition of how fixed a characteristic has to be to qualify as immutable still is evolving , religious affiliation, for example, is recognized as grounds for equal protection , the U.S. Supreme Court still has not included sexual orientation among the traits "so integral to personhood it's not something the government should require people to change," she said.

Adults of homosexuals don’t want to admit that they were horrible parents and failed their kids. Either they were molesting the child, allowed some neighbor access to molest the child (Chas Bono’s lesbian babysitter was raping her) or they were fatherless homes where a coach was molesting the boys....etc. etc. I’ve heard it all-—you have to protect the innocence of your kids....when you stick them in daycare or are an unwed mother who has boyfriends traipsing in and out-—it is the children who are destroyed-—their reality is twisted and ruined and normal development which is maturity can not be reached.
Another big thing that parents do now—is undermine the masculinity of little boys which makes them fixate on men instead of females....your sexual identity is formed in childhood and it is essential to feel good about your maleness or femaleness and have proper role models. Peer acceptance is essential too for mature sexual development which will lead to long term attraction of the opposite sex.
Rhesus monkeys who were taken away from normal development situations (their mother) developed all sorts of abnormal aggressive behaviors which included homosexual activity and an inability to form normal sexual connections. It is all environmental behavior.
Homosexuality is caused by child abuse-—that is why it is evil and needs to be discouraged. It should be illegal to promote sodomy in schools.

I knew Cynthia Nixon as a child. What of it, you ask? Nothing, just sayin’.
The mindless bigotry of the diseased-Liberal mind knows no bounds.
They will treat Ms Nixon the way they treat black Conservatives; as persons who have betrayed them; and all because Ms Nixon, like a black Conservative, choses to live outsidse the Libral myths about who she is and what she is supposed to believe about herselfl, and value - according to Liberals.
At least for her honesty - kudos for her. I’m sure she will find freinds among Conservatives who are Libertarians.
My oldest daughter is a practicing lesbian.
She was not abused as a child; she was raised exactly the same way as her three straight sisters.
She can look you in the eye and tell you she was never molested in any way by anybody.
She genuinely believes she was “born this way”. I can tell you she was and is, more masculine than her sisters.
That said, the genetic arguement still doesn’t really fly. If it is genetic, God already knows that, and He still said the practice of homosexuality is abhorrant. No excuses.
