Let’s set the scorecard so we know who the players are.

Qaddhafi had hired sub-Saharan mercenaries to protect his butt. They were his personal army, though not his elite guard.

After Qaddhafi ordered his army to fire in Libyan civilians, more than half deserted and joined the provincial militias, which are equivalent to our states’ guard.

So Qaddhafi ordered out his sub-Saharan mercenaries to kill the Libyan people. They did start killing Libyans, including families of the army defectors.

The militia, which now included a good portion of Libya’s army, swung into action and attacked Qaddhafi’s forces, including the mercenaries and loyalists.

Qaddhafi’s army of chief of staff was dragged into the courtyard and got his brains blown out. The mercenaries, wherever found, were hanged from lampposts or summarily executed by provincial militias. Some were thrown into private prisons.

As background, the sub-Saharan mercenary thugs and murderers are roundly hated by the Libyan people. Quite simply, the Libyans are exacting revenge against Qaddhafi’s murderers.

In my opinion, what happened in Libya scared the bejeebbers out of the elitists around the world. Here you had an elitist, Qaddhafi, order the army to kill the people who threatened his elitist government, and the troops turned on him. Qaddhafi loyalists, including high government officials and military officers loyal to Qaddhafi, were hunted down and killed. More than 7,000 of Qaddhafi’s loyalists are in militia jails right now. Their fate is unknown.

The elitists around the world are scared sh#tless. They see themselves hanging from lampposts and gunned down where they stand. If an army won’t protect them, who will?

The UN is trying to rescue its elitist, thieving, murdering buddies. What’s happening in Libya has nothing to do with the Muslim Brotherhood or al-Qaeda. It’s pure, naked revenge against the elitists who raped Libya’s citizens, figuratively and literally, for years.

There’s more, but this post is getting too long. This is just my opinion, so take it however you see it. I’ll just add that it appears that the newly structured Libyan army is now controlled by a respected militia leader who is loyal to his country and its citizens - a patriot. We’ll see what happens.

Cheers

I wouldn’t call sub-Saharan mercenaries “elitist” any more than I’d call a Hollywood superstar’s Mexican gardener “elitist”. These were people Qadaffi hired to do his dirty work, and then left holding the bag. I’d feel sorrier for them if the dirty work they were hired to do wasn’t murder, rape and oppression. But among them are also sub-Saharans who really were there just to trim someone’s hedges or even get a good butt-ramming. They are arresting and torturing all sub-Saharans, whether mercenaries or dish washers. What can I say, other than that a third-world s@#$#-hole continues to be a s@#$-hole.

Thank you for a most informative post. IF you hear/read any validity to the ‘rumors’ that Obama has sent 12,000 of our troops into Libya to guard the oil fields please ping me.
