NDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Protesters of a divisive labor measure have marched through the packed Super Bowl Village in downtown Indianapolis.

A mix of union members and Occupy protesters from across Indiana led a rally Saturday that began at the Statehouse before weaving through the crowded pre-game attraction. Speakers at the rally included two state representatives, a state senator and several union workers.

They need to be met with flying beer bottles and rotten eggs and tomatoes.

I beg the union and OWS thugs to shut down the Superbowl. It will be their last stand.

They are being smoked bombed in Oakland by police. They want an ‘abandoned’ building for their offices. Oh, life is SO unfair! No doubt, they need space, so as to prepare their scripting for Election 2012. (Surely, Soros can find space ‘somewhere’. . .and pay the rent.) We should ‘be prepared’.

This won’t be tolerated in Indianapolis.

Isn't it strange that mainly liberal cities and States have these people.
I guess they know where they can get away with it, as if they knew before it started it would be allowed.

Sure doesn’t seem like a good idea for OWS to disrupt a football game in general and the super bowl in particular.

The amount of money bet on the Super Bowl would be enough to fund the national debt of most of the Third World and the union goons and their bosse’s know this. If they don’t then they’re dumber than I thought. However if they do know what’s good for them they’d better not screw around with the Super Bowl because if they do and it doesn’t come off there will be a lot of union bosses ‘’sleeping with the fish’’ because the people betting, putting up the front money, expecting payoffs from winning are that kind of people, if you know what I mean.

the problem in Indy is that the stadium is in the heart of the downtown area. Pretty easy for a few to cause a lot of disruption.

Just looks that way ~ it's designed with a significant free fire zone around it ~ you'll find it identified as Lucas Oil Stadium on google.com on the Indianapolis map.

It's SW of the near downtown area, but inside the central beltway ~ which most cities don't have.

Looks pretty defensible!

57 protestors?

Hell, probably more people than that did Dim sum at PF Changs downtown Indy today.

Besides the media, they were probably barely noticed.

I know someone at the Superbowl event. He said the protesters were booed and jeered by the crowd. It was nice of AP not to report that side of the story.
