Police were in the process of arresting about 100 Occupy protesters for failing to disperse Saturday night, hours after officers used tear gas on a rowdy group of demonstrators who threw rocks and flares at them and tore down fences.
Police Sgt. Christopher Bolton said the arrests came after protesters marched through downtown Oakland a little before 8 p.m. Saturday, with some of them entering a YMCA building.
Meanwhile, about 100 police officers surrounded City Hall while others were swept the inside of the building to see if any protesters broke in.

And this is an update with news of substantially higher arrest numbers after OWS had been denied the second of TWO targeted empty buildings they intended to "occupy", thus breaking news with omitted facts from previous posts.
Additionally, I searched as expected and found no matching articles, which on MSM articles, qualifies as postable.

LOL, but it is interesting that you should mention this in jest.
Occupy announced this march and the intent to "occupy" a vacant building for use as their headquarters, and threatened that if the met any resistance from the cops, that they would "occupy" the Oakland International Airport, and shut it down, a serious economic threat.
Well, I suspect that a few flash bangs in the face should let Occupy know that the cops (with backing, this time) called their bluff.
Yup.
My 23 yr old nephew lives out that way and was asking people for a good nightclub in Oakland and at one point said
“wtf!!!! OCCUPY OAK, GO HOME!!! you’re making this city less attractive to go out in!!!!” :)
