The Most Important Non-Presidential Election of the Decade
Wall Street Journal ^ | Stephen Moore

In Wisconsin, the evidence is mounting that Mr. Walker hasn't brought economic Armageddon but financial stability. Last year's $3 billion deficit is now a $300 million surplus—and it was accomplished without the new taxes that unions favored. "If a business is failing, you don't raise the prices on your customers," Mr. Walker scoffs.

Surprise, surprise. Unions don't like this. But they better get used to being emasculated.

We`ll see. this recall effort isn`t fact- but revenge-based. Walker stepped on the toes of the union kings, and in their power-mad minds, he must pay. He`d better up his security especially if he wins the recall election. The thugs won`t stop there.

Take nothing for granted. If you are a Wisconsian and support Governor Walker, get out and vote not to recall him. The unions will make sure to get their voters, by gunpoint if necessary.

If the people vote to recall him the entire State deserves to suffer.

I’m content to let the unions waste their money - as long as we just remain focused on the “State of Wisconsin” as in how things are “on the ground” and in people’s homes we’ll be OK. The vocal ones are the liberals, but they don’t realize how many are sick and tired of their crap. We’re sick of the taxes that have been brought to our doorsteps by Democrat Governors, and we aren’t amnesic to how and WHO has done that.

Wisconsin isn’t Illinois (the Dems are way too entrenched in Chicago and Downstate to be able to budge them it seems), and the Socialists in Wisconsin might have a hold on Madison and Milwaukee, but their games are finally being exposed (ironically some through the recalls themselves).

As long as we (citizens of WI) keep the pressure on in regards to all the processes we can oversee (like the elections and the GOA, etc...) then I think we’ll be in good position. Then Walker’s campaign people can concentrate on whatever charges the recall candidate brings up, and Walker and the GOP legislature can concentrate on undoing the damage wrought by Doyle and the Dem’s tenure(s).

The results of Gov. Walker’s actions speak for themselves. We are better off in Wisconsin than in many, many other areas of the country precisely because we elected someone that isn’t beholden to the unions, but instead to capitalist principles which is way better than gov’t subsidies any day.

Sorry for the “campaign ad”. I’m personally sick of the unionistas in our state - and I don’t know many people who aren’t (unless they are one, frankly).

I can’t wait to kick some Socialist, Union butt when it comes to the public court of opinion through this recall campaign. The smashing of Obama’s ideas won’t help the Dems here in WI during this election year, either. As long as we maintain our offensive actions against the institutions that allow them to keep a strangle-hold on the State government we will continue to prevail. This is REALITY and not THEORY at work, and Socialists can’t stand against the harsh light of truth.

Wisconsin has 5.5 million people living in it and the Milwaukee- Madison metro area has about half of the people.
It’s not easy to out vote them, but we try.
