I remember this NIE 'gem' from November 2007 just in time for the liberals to slam any concern about Iran during the 2008 election campaign.

WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 [2007] — A new assessment by American intelligence agencies concludes that Iran halted its nuclear weapons program in 2003 and that the program remains frozen, contradicting judgment two years ago that Tehran was working relentlessly toward building a nuclear bomb.

Ever since then I have wondered, did any of these 'EXPERTS' get FIRED or REASSIGNED? If not, why not? Could they have been Democrats - just asking.

The loss of Syria will be a major problem to the Iranian ability to project via surrogates supported through Syria. The flank attack on Syria has them off balance.

Have we EVER stopped a country from building a nuke? It looks like 100% failure rate to me. Iran WILL build one if they haven’t already. Nothing can stop them short of war.Only the threat of swift and utter retaliation will protect us. maybe.
