Well, since this is my first post, please forgive me if this is done incorrectly or it is a duplicate. I searched for this topic and couldn't find it. I was wondering whether or not this was a McCain senility slip or confirmation of what many have suspected all along, that Mitt IS the GOP's nominee. Comments anyone?

So... after winnng exactly one primary out of 3 contests, and not even having a lead in delegates at this point he wants to declare Mitt the winner??

...

McCain is supposed to be an expert at winning elections or something?

I’m sure the GOP WANTS mitt to be the nominee. They ran the liberal mclame last time and the even more liberal mitt this time.

But I will not vote for their choice ever again. I will vote for MY choice.

Alhtough nothing is ever certain I think McCain is correct. Unless there is a huge shift in the form of an unforeseen game changer then yes Romney will be the nominee. He has the campaign infrastructer and had it in place literally for years. It is paying off. Newt was a one trick pony did well in SC due to a great debate. His Florida debates had him looking a bit lost so no debate bounce. If Romney wins Florida (looks to be the case) he will get a bump and go into even friednlier territory of Nevada and Michigan. expect a couple of bumps out of those wins. Newt will probably start to have money problems after this unless he comes close.

If the GOP nominates a pro-abortion liberal to run against Obama he will get destroyed. 25% of republicans will not vote for Obama’s twin brother. It’s either Gingrich or four more years of socialism in America, which will include Obama signing an executive order legalizing homosexual marriage all over the country. No church’s will have exemptions from performing marriages on sodomites.

Will that disgusting old fool ever go away??? Since when did one of the GOP’s biggest losers become its senior statesman anyway?

“It is paying off. Newt was a one trick pony did well in SC due to a great debate”

This “one trick pony” will dominate the South. Willard the liberal Morman will not win the first Southern primary. Mark it down.

“Willard the liberal Morman will not win the first Southern primary. Mark it down.”

Forgive me but isnt Florida in the South?
Again Newt may run into money problems. If he does he will not be able to build a campaign infrastructure anywhere. A recent poll out of Texas had Romney winning there (it was a few weeks ago). You may be right but i doubt it again unless something unforeseen happens. Heck Newt couldnt even get on the ballot in VA and MO for crying out loud. Again unless there is a significant game changer Romney will probably be the nominee. Mark that down ;)

exactly.............i am so sick of the establishment trying to brainwash people into giving up hope that anyone other than myth can win. myth will cause a lot of voters to stay home if he is the nominee.

That's why I've said all along.... Whoever wins FL wins the nomination. Done deal. This is it for Conservatives folks. Today is do-or-die for Newt. Let's not kid ourselves and say: "Well, this is only the fourth State to vote". Look at the history of GOP Primaries..... The "process" may go on, but, it's over today. I am seriously praying that Newt can pull off a huge upset.

But...but ..but.
Karl Rove says Mittens will win the next three states after Fla. and he’s my “go to” guy. I believe everything that the pro Romney, pro establish., inside the beltway shill says.
