One commentator said Gingrich’s problem was the last of a cohesive message. He was all over the map and failed to present a centralized message.

I'm afraid that is "our Newt" in a nutshell (sigh).

Recall the flack the DeLay threads got when he said that was one of Gingrich's problems when he was Speaker.

Drudge and the GOP-E assasinated Newt last Thursday like they did back in the 90’s. Newt was running just a few points behind until then, and it all went south after that.
