As our Country is now, no. There isn't hope of fixing it. All of the mechanisms we would normally have been able to use to do so are hopelessly corrupted.
This does not mean we can't build it back up on the foundations our forefathers left for us in the Constitution. The diseased edifice currently in place must be cleared away before we can rebuild on that foundation though...

Trouble is, you have us immanentizing the eschaton over here, and the leninists and maoists of the obamanation doing it over there.
