SANTORUM in the video: What we need to do is when we look at an economic stimulus package is not look at what the cost is but what the impact will be on the economy. And you want job creation, job growth, and you want the creation of new federal revenues as a result of that economic activity. So I don't think we should look at it in terms of how much money it costs the federal treasury. You have to look at how many new jobs it is going to create, how much economic activity and new revenues will flow to the federal government as result. And so the President's package is, from my perspective, what the doctor ordered. It is exactly right for investors.

Michelle Malkin needs to see this.
Ron Paul: the only option for limiting government.
Rick Santorum sucks.
Ha! Was just thinking the same thing.
—”Michelle Malkin needs to see this.”—
Ain’t gonna matter. There really isn’t anything at this point that is going to budge most Santorum voters, no matter what, no matter what, no matter what. He is the holiest candidate running, and that’s that.
They are among the crowd that believes that splitting the Conservative vote is okay because everyone is going to support whomever gets the nomination anyway, just like them.
As I have said before, we need to start taking more drastic action to stop vote splitting and stop it EARLY. More than that, we need to show these guys in exit polling that we did not, and will not, support anyone who wins the nomination, no matter how liberal.
Unless and until they start seeing repercussions, both the Establishment GOP and bone-headed Conservative vote-splitters with delusions of grandeur, we are going to continue dealing with this every single election cycle.
Don’t be ridiculous. Bush’s ‘stimulus package’ went out in the form of tax rebates. Obama’s wasn’t a stimulus package at all, it was a sop to his contributors.
Calling that "Obamanomics" is extremely dishonest.
Both Gingrich and Santorum are proposing tax cuts that would widen the deficit, at least in the short term.
And Newtie is sucking up to the open boarder crowd. (not to mention his big government solutions to everything else)
Not that it matters anyway because none of the republicans are going to be president.
Tax cuts are more correctly termed, Reaganomics.
Cutting taxes are anathema to Obama, he only signed the extension of the tax cuts under duress.
Aw, don’t confuse them with the facts. The scorched earth policy has come to Santorum.
Assuming, of course, the poster intended to be truthful.
That is the problem when conceding the language; a tax cut is a “cost” to government.
Geez, some things never change. all is far in politics, especially taking ones words out of context in order to justify crony political trashing.
I agree. He should get OUT and go home to his sick child and family. GO NEWT!
Effectively Rick Santorum is endorsing Romney.
Santorum suckers are the types who will unfortunately follow another RINO cycle, maybe a couple more cycles, of RINO Establishment directions to the cliff’s edge.
If it were not so pathetic, it would be laughable watching them jump, one at a time, crying out instead of “Geronimo”,
“MY CONSCIENCE!” “MY CONSCIENCE!” “MY PURITY”.
Well, it took a few posts, but happily, folks like you are rightly pointing out that the OP has taken the now-pejorative word “Stimulus”, and has lumped the Obama and Bush plans. Bush’s plan was NOT crony capitalism. Phew! Bob
Before you jump on the Santorum bandwagon there are several issues you should be aware of..
Senators Propose Redundant Media Research Study
(Washington, D.C.) - Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) today criticized Senators Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.), Joe Lieberman (D-Conn.), Sam Brownback (R-Kan.), and Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) for reintroducing the Children and Media Research Advancement Act (CAMRA), which will set up a $90 million program to research what countless other studies have already documented the effects of television viewing and other media on children. CAGW named Sen. Lieberman Porker of the Month when he introduced the same legislation in August, 2004.
This proposal is just one expensive rerun, CAGW President Tom Schatz said. For decades this issue has been studied to death, always yielding the same results. Calling for yet another taxpayer-funded study belittles the ability of parents to use common sense in deciding what shows are appropriate for their children.
1. Santorum joined Sen Hillary Clinton, Sen Lieberman, Sam Brownback in introducing the CHILDREN AND MEDIA REASEARCH ADVANCEMENT ACT which allocated a 90 MILLION dollar program to research the effects that watching tv has on children. This was a call for ANOTHER taxpayer funded study the thinks the govt knows better than parents on what is appropriate for their children to view.

2. Santorum voted to raise the minimum wage and to have the govt be allowed to set wage regulations.
3. Santorum spent more than 1 billion on earmarks including..., Pennsylvania in 2005 received $483 million in earmarks for 872 projects, including $5.4 million for an igloo upgrade for an Army Depot and $5 million for a new visitor center at Gettysburg.

4. Santorum voted to raise the debt ceiling 8 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Save your distain for the other side, OK?
