New Orleans’ education system even with charter schools is garbage. Any improvement is smoke and mirrors.

Also, this whole voucher idea where these kids get $8,500 from the state to go screw up a private school is a load of crap. I’m paying that much out of pocket for my kid to go private and in roll a bunch of freeloaders? How much in benefits do the dysfunctional get per year for food, healthcare, housing and now education?

Once a private school begins to accept that $, the state will begin to dictate what can be taught.

This will end up doing to private schools what Section 8 did to neighborhoods.
