Madison - State election officials plan to post all the petitions to recall Gov. Scott Walker late Tuesday, the board announced.
"In the interest of full transparency, the (Government Accountability) Board has always planned to release copies of recall petitions to anyone who requested them, and to post them online," Kevin Kennedy, the board's director said in a statement. "However, we recently heard from a number of people who are concerned about their personal safety if their names and addresses are made public. As a result, our staff had to do a thorough analysis under Wisconsin's public records law. These are serious issues which must be given thorough consideration and addressed in light of the statutes and the responsibilities of the board."

So they’re going to post the names of folks who signed the recall petitions?
Wonder if Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck are still on the list?
Good news for verifytherecall.com ping!
The GAB bought a $100,000 machine to translate the petitions to text and alphabetize them. I can't find that list at the GAB but I didn't look too hard.
I don’t care what they do to Donald Duck, but they better leave Goofy alone!
I’m not going to say something snarky, like if you had read the article you would indeed know that they are going to post the names.
Instead, I’m going to say something fawning like, Humblegunner, sweetie, I know that you have much more important things to do then read trifling articles, so I read it for you. Yes, they are indeed going to post the names.
How’d I do?
I DO NOT click through most excerpts. That's why I asked, and got an answer.
Howd I do?
Not too bad, for a first effort.
Try to work "savior" and "only hope" in next time.
Over all, graded on a curve, I'd give it a 4.6.
Not too shabby.
Well, thank you kind sir. That means a lot coming from you, especially since I’m not feeling well today.
I shall try harder tomorrow when I am, hopefully, feeling better.

No..they filed the complaint....
Browsing through a couple of the lists and I’ve got some real problems. How did a ‘circulator’ who lives in Madison get a signature from someone in LaCrosse? I spent my teen years in Wisconsin and that don’t sound right.

Don’t knowif they are still on, but E.T. is on it - numerous times. They are live at 22 Mulbery as I recall. This from one gal who was going over the petitions for the Tea Party.
This would be funny if the results were not so serious. But it shows the mentality of the Commie Dems.
From what I understand, that is legal. One person checking the petitions saw that the person who submitted the signatures listed a TX address, he was told that it was legit as long as the person from TX didn’t sign the petition himself.
Pray for Gov. Scott Walker! It is very important that the heavy-handed unions be defeated by the voters of Wisconsin affirming Gov. Walker’s reforms by retaining him as governor in the recall election.
They looked like simple scanned pages turned into .pdfs.
I looked at the 1st 50 pages and what was interesting to me is that about 6 of the signatures were clear on the printed name and so totally illegible on the written name as to indicate they made no effort to write the name. Implying to me that the person who signed might have intentionally scribbled lines only as a signature.
I was frankly a little disappointed, I was hoping being able to search a text document.
Think what the cost of all of this paper was.
Probably didn’t cost them anything - they probably used the copier at school.
E.T, was at 222 N. 33rd st in Milwaukee. Along with many other “names”.
The problem is that the GAB has the ability and means to put the names in alphabetical order but is going to make us have to try to rifle through over $513,000 pages of petitions if we want to see if someone used our name. They won’t even sort them by municipality so people could check that way. They are nothng but 6 political hacks appointed by Wisconsin’s previous Dem Gov Jim Doyle.
The Government UNaccountability Board is a joke and should be disbanded. It is composed of 6 liberal former judges.
Here’s the odd thing I discovered today. Yesterday, before the governor recall petitions were put up they also had the scanned names in alpha order listed (from their $100,000 machine they insisted they needed) for the senator recalls. Those are gone now, only the actually petitions are available now.
The GAB is screwing with us big time!!
