It was idiot Democrats from New York South (i.e. South Florida) who tried to steal the election for Gore.
We’re not all idiots but then again all Republicans aren’t immersed in the echo chamber that is Free Republic, either.
It was a combination of the early votes, the blitz of attack ads that came in at the last minute and the split of the conservative vote.
Newt and Rick S. together would have been a dead heat with Romney.
