Pure, unadulterated BS! There’s 46 states to go and you’ve surrendered. Way to win a war!

Remember, when the heat gets turned up, you can trust Rush to remind EVERYONE that what he does is "entertainment".

I'm actually pretty glad this primary is going the way it is. People are getting majorly pissed off and the status quo "entertainers" and talking heads of "the right" are going to have a pretty damn tough time in the not so distant future.

Am I reading these exit polls correctly (CNN)

Romney beat Gingrich by 20 points for “somewhat conservative”
And Romney beat Santorum for “very conservative”
And Romney beat Santorum for “conservative”
And Romney beat Gingrich with “tea party” supporters?

Surely I am reading this wrong? Help !

Open to Republicans and Independents only. Does that also mean that Independents get to vote in the Democrat primary?

I agree we need to pick our selves up and go forward. Doing just that. However, don’t let that 51% moderate fool you. There is no way these folks understand the definition. We passed in our constitution, the definition of marriage is between one man and one woman with almost 70 percent support, and have some of the most conservative legislatures representatives and laws in the country.

While this did not go well, it was an all out assault here from Romney for a month and, well, he scared the old folks. There are also alot of old folks who are absolute republicans, pull the lever types no matter what. No thought, just vote for who the R tells them to. Secret is, they are silver haired. The true conservatives down here are the pro life, pro marriage, pro conservative tea party types. Might take a couple of years, but, we are cleaning it up. Rick Scott, Allen West, Marco Rubio, Tom Rooney, Castle doctrine, No retreat Law, repeal of all gun laws in all counties and cities that are more excessive than the State laws, drug testing for welfare (pending standard aclu lawsuit) toughest state to get any benefits in- THESE are things done by mostly moderates? LOL.

There is much more, especially in the pro life movement (ultrasounds of babies, 24 hour cooling off period etc), but I don’t want to take up this thread regarding our issues. We are working on it, Rome wasn’t built in a day! I fled the north to escape the libs, I will fight like hell to preserve conservatism here, and I brought young, smart, well educated young men who are getting ready to build an even larger generation of conservative grandchildren to keep it growing :) ( NONE IN THE OVEN YET, but soon I am told)

Oy vey! It's the establishment's "electability" card all over again.

Romney taking more votes than Newt + Santorum combined should put more than a bit of fear into supporters of both.

And Tea Party Patriots...

NO Santorum! Newt equals bucking President Bush 41 on tax hikes, fighting for Reagan, fighting for balanced budget ammendments, contract with America which btw Santorum was swept into office during the gop revolution thanks to Newt! A vote for Little Ricky is a vote for Mittens

But for voters who valued “true conservative” credentials as their top quality, Gingrich led with 46 percent, followed by Santorum at 26 percent and Paul at 16 percent. Among those voters, Romney was last with 11 percent.

Btw, Florida is not a conservative state. They are moderate so would be dazzled by Romney’s stellar BS. Obama won Florida in 2008.

Well, looks like I will be voting 3rd party or writing in a candidate of my choosing for president. I am SICK of voting for a liberal with an R after his name because I’m told that I must.

I will give to Conservative races, particularly for crucial seats in Congress, but not one thin dime to the GOP-E crooks at the RNC or their enablers.

I am SO angry right now.

In your world "evangelical 'true' conservatives" don't believe in forgiveness and redemption?

It makes sense why the most sanctimonious candidate would appeal to you. However, with Mitt beating the total votes of Newt + Santorum combined it may not even matter that your claimed candidate splits the vote.

It may well be over and we're to go on pretending for the next month there's a hope in hell of stopping Romney's coronation.
