A meme can be good. PUtting John 3 : 16 has gotten a lot of hits on google.

Or it can be used for evil. Think how many people were addicted because of tobacco or alcohol memes before advertising was cut.

Better understanding now? Once you recognize what is being done you are no longer “under the power of the meme”

drop drop fizz fizz oh what a relief it is...I will remember that until the day I go senile...I remember the first commercial I ever heard back in the early 50's...we got our first TV in 1949.

The finest apples from apple land, makes Motts apple juice just grand....it was a jingle...jingles stay with the mind usually cause they rhyme. Still the word meme just surfaced in the last couple of years on the net. Not in the dictionary so must be recent vernacular.

Hey, I was just rereading my comments and posts from you..(just to remember what I have said) and you mentioned tobacco. The dancing Old Gold cigarette girls, the marlboro man, Lucky Strikes, means fine tobacco, Our cigarette has less tar and nicotine. I believed them all and smoked them all. Now I roll my own. I am no longer under the power of the meme. Would that be correct? :O)

The Lucky Strike one meant something different to us teens in the fifty's......It was** Don't forget LSMFT, Lucky Strike means Fine Tobacco*** part of their real commericials, but if I wrote it out I'd be banned for smut...
