The Obama administration's war on Christians
Human Events ^ | 2/1/2012 | Newt Gingrich

Last week, the Obama administration finalized a radical new rule that uses the health care law to require all health insurance providers to cover abortion-inducing drugs and sterilization as well as contraception, all free of charge. The administration based the rule’s “religious exemption” on a provision drafted by the ACLU, applying the rule even to religious organizations such as Catholic schools, hospitals, universities, and charities that oppose such things as a matter of religious belief.

The weak exemption the administration allowed applies only to religious organizations serving primarily people of the same religion. It is so narrow that Timothy Dolan, the Catholic Archbishop of New York City and current head of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops wrote in the Wall Street Journal that “even Jesus and His disciples would not qualify for the exemption in that case, because they were committed to serve those of other faiths.”

Because Catholic institutions serve people of all faiths, the adoption by the Obama administration of the ACLU exemption language is an explicit and intentional assault on the Catholic Church in the United States.

Why would Mr. Bottom-line Romney be any different?

Although the Zero administration certainly has it in for Christians, this directive is an attack on anyone, regardless of religious belief, who would prefer that insurance prioritize the care of sick or injured people over anti-birth drugs and surgery. Contraceptives without a copayment, but not pain medication or blood-pressure treatment? Sterilization surgery with no deductible, but not joint replacement or cardiac angioplasty?

The Death Eaters thought this up, and a surprising number of nincompoops in the general public appear to think it’s a great idea ... obviously there’s a certain segment of the population for whom any oppression is tolerable, as long as they don’t have to pay, in any visible way, for their sexual behavior choices.

“The Obama administration’s war on Christians”

“War” is a misnomer-it’s a Jihad.

"Waiting for Romney to feign outrage."

So, um, he's going to be outraged because the hundreds of LDS hospitals are going to have to change something?
Where are all these Mormon hospitals, and when did they care about murdering infants? The "church" doesn't have a policy on that, you know? Catholic hospitals are common, and Adventists hospitals are fairly common, but I can honestly say I've never seen an LDS hospital. I imagine there's one or more in Salt Lake City, but how many others?

Romney will feign outrage over this if it negatively effects some hospital supply outfit he owns a big percentage of. Otherwise, he could care less whether millions of infants are slaughtered.
