(CBS/AP) SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham, one of the top prep recruits in the country, has signed a national letter of intent to play at Missouri.
The Springfield (Hillcrest), Mo., player says he wanted to remain close to home and that the Tigers who are entering the Southeastern Conference next season are the perfect fit. Green-Beckham says he built a close relationship with the Missouri coaches during the recruiting process and that influenced his decision.
The 6-foot-6, 225-pound Green-Beckham says he slept on his decision Monday night after weekend visit to Columbia, Mo., and he still felt the Tigers were the right decision on Tuesday.

His little brother has cancer. I kinda figured Dorial would stay in Missouri.
One of many fine articles with details on this kid.
Dorial Green-Beckham more than just a top-rated football recruit
SPRINGFIELD — He walks into the Hillcrest High locker room wearing headphones, one ear covered and the other free, his thumbs looped around the straps of his blue backpack. Passing a tabletop with two black leather jackets draped over it, Dorial Green-Beckham enters an office with a glass window.
John Beckham, Hillcrests football coach and Dorials adoptive father, pats his 6-foot-6 wide receiver on the elbow.
Arkansas is right in here, Beckham says, motioning toward an adjoining room. The 17-year-old Dorial nods before heading toward his next meeting with college football recruiters.
Green-Beckham already has been compared with former NFL stars such as Randy Moss and Terrell Owens. He is Missouris best college football prospect, and Rivals ranks him as the nations No. 1 recruit.

Another Man among boys. It will be interesting to watch him play in the SEC.
Too bad he didn’t choose Texas, We would of loved to have him. \m/
I watched some film of him earlier. Very impressive!
Looks like he is going to add a much needed element to the Mizzou offense. The hole left by Jeremy Maclin`s departure is now filled.
I can`t wait to see Mauk and DGB on the field. What a combo that could be!!! Mizzou`s future is looking pretty good.
