Well, I don't know if I'd go that far, but Wall Street people have noticed, and written about it, that what Buffett actually does is markedly different from what he tells other people that he did, and what he tells them they should do.
For example, about five years ago Buffett started accumulating poorly-regarded oil & gas exploration & production company (hereinafter, just "E&P") Amerada Hess, which was poorly run by a scion of the original founder. Buffett gradually put together a sizeable stake in the company -- and then he told everyone all about it, that he was buying shares in Amerada. And good to his word, he went on buying Amerada while the price accelerated north ..... and then sold off a ton of it about three weeks later. Yup, that was the peak.
