Here’s how MRC explains the exchange between a Memphis radio host, Thaddeus Matthews, and a GOP candidate for Congress, Charlotte Bergmann:
"This shocking video (uploaded to YouTube by someone not friendly to the Tea Party) shows Memphis talk radio host Thaddeus Matthews insulting and humiliating Republican congressional candidate Charlotte Bergmann on air."
And that’s being kind. Matthews quickly became upset with Bergmann when she wouldn’t answer directly about any affiliation with the Tea Party. Then he launched into a 16-minute argument filled with curse words and accusations that added up to her being too close to whites and not really having the interest of the black community in mind. Eventually, Bergmann bowed out of the conversation, and that’s when Matthews really let her have it — not only did he accuse her of being a “token negro” for whites, but he also slipped in references about Martin Luther King and even refused to shake her hand because he was afraid her “whiteness” would rub off on him.

Everytime I hear a black man use the term "axe" as in "I axed you to go to the store" I realize that the cultural divide in America is huge. And frightening.
The only other time I felt this was was watching the inner city, ahem, "gentlemen" looting stores and just basically acting criminal on live TV.
Please tell me that he and the radio station has been heavily fined by the FCC and that the radio station has suspended him.
It’s obvious who the racist is - he can’t see past the end of his nose. At the same time, what is it about “Freedom of Speech” you don’t get?
He has just as much right to spout his ignorant, arrogant, racist crap as anyone else.
In general, white people in America have lost their will to defend themselves, just as the white Europeans have.
It’s not that I think whites are better than anyone else, but I most certainly don’t believe we are worse. However, whites, especially white males, are fair game for any kind of abuse. And those that “defect” to the other side, adopting traditional values, are treated as though they are white.
Can you imagine if a white host, let’s say, Hannity, said to Juan Williams: I don’t want to shake your hand, I don’t want your blackness rubbing off on me?
In the near future, the US will be dominated by Spanish speaking folks, I can never figure out what the politically correct term is: Latino? No, that’s male. Hispanic? No, that’s not specific. Whatever.
White people are well on their way to being a era of human history who’s time has past.

While I agree with you, I note that this freedom is not equally applied. Don Imus can tell you about it.
A person should be free to be racist, it’s a choice, even if it’s a stupid one. That freedom ends when someone attempts to apply their racism to public arenas, hiring, service, etc.

Your post made me ponder for a moment. Here are my thoughts as to why whites in America, and worldwide, are in decline.
* Whites aren’t having children. Just like every other society throughout time, as the society became more prosperous the people became more self-centered. Why have children when you can spend money on yourself?
* Whites aren’t defending their Judeo-Christian Western Civilization culture, robustly and loudly.
* Whites embrace too readily other cultures. I shudder every time I hear that a white family loves rap music but doesn’t have a single CD of Bach or Mozart in the house.
* Guilty whites (maybe 1/4 of us) tear down their culture. Think college professors and other white liberals.
* Whites belittle traditional marriage.
* Whites buy into the BS that the world is overpopulated; that corporations are bad; that global warming is occuring; that human beings are carbon producers rather than creative assets and gifts from God.
* Whites have abandoned their faith.
The guilty party is us. Look in the mirror and it ought to be clear that this happened because we allowed it. How many children do you have? Your brothers and sisters? Your friends?
It is worse elsewhere. In Brussels, native Belgians are not having babies; Muslim children area already a majority in schools and in 20 years they will be a majority of the voting population country wide.
I came to this realization myself 20 years ago. I cannot change the country, or the world, but I can only impact my own family and my local community; and raise my children right.
I’m proud to say that I have three children and live in a part of the country (North County San Diego) which is a slice of Americana from the past. We attend church, as do all of our friends, and nearly everyone we know has a “large” family — at least 2 children, many with 3 or more.
Well, I expect she will be a very weak candidate, but she appears to be strong in her conviction. Matthews is an ugly human being and hopefully there will be payback sometime.

That is my point. Western culture is dominant in the world, but is sliding fast. White people have been in power, and therefore, have the ability to determine their own fate.
The problem is bigger than just one of us. I am doing my part, but society as a whole is going in another direction. If more of us were raised to be proud of who we are versus self loathing, and submissive, we’d be much better off.
I fear that the momentum is such that reversing the trend will be nearly impossible. People like you and I who are proud of who are, often are branded as kooks or racists.
I’m afraid that we are left to follow the advice of Voltaire and “tend our own garden”.
But we can’t be proud of being who we are because being proud of our white race is racist. That’s how we are treated by our own race and it’s amplified by the culture of the other races in how they segregate us from their cultures. Having white pride is equated with being a skin head or neo-nazi.
They are, in effect, using our own willingness to submit to “diversity” to breed us out of existence.
Our own white culture has been duped into limited breeding which only guarantees our extinction.

Conflicting Views On Core Premises.
It is manifest to anyone with common sense, that there is nothing wrong with any people--or any subset of any people--honoring their heritage or preferring the culture of those who share a common history, etc.. The fundamentals of all peoples have been under attack by those who want to build new world orders, however; and smearing the American mainstream fits nicely into that general attack on heritage as a viable concept.

Or is it that you would rather attack the observer, not the observation?
I’ll suffer with my apparent lack of ability to speak or write, versus what I perceive to be your shortcomings.
I am not saying that Leftists in other races have not joined in the chorus; particularly as the Pied Pipers of hate--such as Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton--have used the uncritical mass Media, to influence the susceptible. But, historically, most of the really vicious anti-White hatred has been spawned by White Leftists. (And nurtured as well by some of the present Demagogue in Office's mentors, when he was only a "Community Organizer.")

There are four errors in your one sentence:
1) White people are not an "era." They are "human beings."
2) The correct article used to preface the noun "era" is "an," not "a."
3) As you have noted, you should have used "whose," not "who's."
4) The last word of your sentence should be "passed," not "past." If you had written "whose time is past," you would have been correct.
If you want people to take your points seriously, and if you don't want to portray this forum as a place where semi-literate yahoos get together and make points about white people, it might be wise to take a little more pains with your use of language. If you can't handle the critique, you probably shouldn't post at all.

I’m always grateful for constructive criticism. Your criticism was anything but constructive. I’m generally reasonable with my handling of the language. You caught me on a bad post. Yes, I slaughtered it. But you did get my meaning, didn’t you?
If you had a spine, you’d have criticized the content of my post, not the imprecision with which it was posted. Yes, I’m assuming that’s the root of your problem with my post.
You are the worst kind of liberal, a spineless one. I can correct my postings. I doubt very seriously that you can correct your deficiencies.
