Kinda makes you distrust the media...Or ar least wonder how they dream up “kill Newt” news. Does Obama call the media directly??

Well, it’s not CNN, it’s a blog as near as I can tell, although this guy is obviously very senior there.
Even so, seems to be he/they would look ridiculous if it turned out to be Newt. I think it would be exactly the opposite of ‘blunting the effect’ it would make it into a much bigger story than it otherwise would be.
Unfortunately, I think the endorsement will be for Romney. We will soldier on.
