This is what happens when people don’t have principles. When story is Trump endorses Newt, everyone loves Trump and think he is the greatest thing since sliced bread (on the other thread). When story is Trump to endorse Mitt, Trump is bashed as the anti-Christ. Folks absolutely have ZERO principles.

I'm really starting to wonder what mainstream "conservatism" really is when it seems to be a sliding scale depending entirely on what republican is popular at the moment.

I've noticed that now that Ed Rollins speaks favorably of Gingrich, he's no longer a secret Romney plant but has morphed into a Reagan Conservative.

This primary is a big mess. All of a sudden people are happy with Trump? Since when does he have conservative principles? Never. We are really lowering the meaning of conservative this round. They always say that the Democrats keep going to the left. We I believe fully that the ENTIRE Republican party (conservatives included) have gone left and perhaps more than the Democrats as far as direction. Of course the Democrats are still more left than the Republicans but it is getting closer and closer everyday.
