Jesus was about the soul not the wallet!

Right...it is about the individual journey that we take to learn and live His teachings. That includes how we spend what we earn, be it tithing, charity or even how wise we are with what we are blessed with. It is an individual choice. Liberals do not want power in the individual, as Jesus did. They want government to do all things, in large part so they can direct the culture deeper into the gutter.
