This is why you can’t rely on FOX any longer. This was covered on FR a day or two ago and it seems that it happened either on Sunday or earlier in the week??? Stick to FR and you’ll be a couple of days ahead of the news reporting cycle.
I watched all the testimony on live stream (thanks to FR posting it) and it didn’t accomplish much but it was interesting. Probably the most glaring “admission” by Holder was he didn’t know anything at all about F&F but HE DID KNOW that it wasn’t set up to subvert any US citizen’s 2nd Amendment rights! That was astounding and no one questioned him on that ridiculous statement.
There was quite a pukey congressman (D) from VA - Connelly? He thought he was pretty cute. Asked Holder all kinds of questions about existing laws against firearms trafficking and straw purchasers - tongue in cheek with every question and then sat back when Holder gave his answers looking so outraged and perplexed - “NO, we don’t have laws against that?”
Great theater but he’d do better a local comedy club. AND “Have you recommended the assault weapons ban be lifted?” Of course, the aim of F&F had nothing to do with gun control!
Gowdy (R) - I’m not sure where he’s from but got right to the point and read emails which Holder said he didn’t know about so Issa went into a 5 minute recess so they could get them to Holder...
The Republicans did a great job but the dems were all grandstanding. Kucinich showed up near the end and said he was late because he & his wife had been at the prayer breakfast and they said a prayer for him and it looked as tho’ their prayer had already been answered because there still wasn’t any evidence Holder was responsible for anything. I guess not even responsible for KNOWING WHAT WAS GOING ON in his own department.
Maloney (D-NY) put on a show as usual also.. They see it all as a “political” hit job, of course. She couldn’t repeat “past administration” enough in her 5 minutes....
Holder knew a lot about the program run from the Bush administration (that was shut down) but not the one going on under his nose!!

If this were radical and or plain muslims Obama would be breaking in the news.
This needs to speed up and start some heavy hitting, getting some of these scum charged with crimes.
