On Wednesday the Arizona Senate Government Reform Committee discussed a package of bills that are intended to curb public employee union corruption. SB 1485 would prohibit government bodies from collectively bargaining with public employee unions. SB 1487 would end the practice of automatic payroll deductions for union dues. SB 1486 would ban the practice of compensating public employees for union work.

With Gov. Daniels signing right-to-work in Indiana, the unions will have a three front war: Wisconsin, Indiana and now Arizona. Those of you in AZ should write, email, call your local representatives and Gov. Brewer to make sure this gets passed and signed into law.

I am going to enjoy watching Jerry Brown watch these States draw back from the fiscal abyss.

Doing it in multiple states at once forces the unions to spread their resources thinly. Michigan should follow.

Arizona Republic moron, Montini, isn’t right in the head. The boy is one big, sick ‘RAT. He’s one of the main reasons why I stopped reading the Republic many, many moons ago.

Governor Duck, and Dodge will just dream up some fantasy about some Democrat act that led to fiscal recovery for these States. Lying is what they do, so lie they will.

If we get the Senate back here in Iowa in 2012 I expect the issue to be taken up here too.

AZ better put the Dems in the legislature on house arrest. Otherwise they’ll flee the state prior to the vote.

That idea was proposed by a R cangresman, but our Rino Gov. said today that Michigan has more important things to address.
That’s what you get when you let the Dems vote in your primaries.

An immature and petulant comment at best. A hateful and spiteful comment at its worst. Bullies that don’t get their way are wretched beings.

You are excellent at alienating potential friends and allies. Congratulations, but I hope no one holds you against your candidate because I think it’s imperative to survival to make Newt president at this point.

BTW Governor Brewer is NOT a conservative—all the conservative legislation she signed was with considerable arm twisting from the legislature that also passed a bill to require proof of eligibility to be on our ballot which she vetoed. (Probably because she was SOS when he was not vetted in ‘08.)

She’s a mixed bag. We love that she fights publicly against Obozo on the border issues, but outside of that she just doesn’t get it. Unfortunately most people don’t know that other side and the Arizona Repugnant isn’t about to write about it.

Arizona and other free states are waging battles that Washington seems incapable of making headway. I’m hoping Arizona indicts the federal attorneys, ATF officials and maybe even Holder in FAST AND FURIOUS.

Hey Jean,

Doesn't Governor Walker have a pretty good approval rating even though the rats "received" one million signatures for the recall? You know authentic signatures of Adolf Hitler, Mickey Mouse, Elvis and who knows what else. Gotta love Milwaukee and Madison!!!
