The California Medical Marijuana Regulation Act – which may appear on the November ballot – reads as follows: “Creates a state enforcement division to regulate and control all entities involved in the commercial cultivation, manufacture, distribution, and sale of medical marijuana in California; requires their mandatory registration with the state; and establishes a state excise tax of upon all medical marijuana grown for sale in California.”

When asked how they would vote if the election were held today, 59.2 percent said they’d vote yes. [...]

I am always amazed that people who want smoking banned in private homes, Apartments, and cars want to legalise Marijuana.

Anything that burns is a Carcinogen.

Hum? Even if this were to pass, the feds are raiding the dispensaries every day and shutting them down, so how would this new law work?

I know people who grow and distribute marijuana in California under prop 215, also Schwarzenegger made possession an infraction here. Since then so many people grow it the price has nosedived, it’s almost to the point where it is no longer profitable.

I am all for making marijuana legal (regulated like alcohol), but they need to stop with the medical marijuana thing. How about some people just want to smoke a plant and who cares why? This ruse of "medical" is bullcrap and dishonest. Does it help some of those stricken? Sure I guess, not for me to say, government needs to learn the same, not for IT to say...

Wrongo. I wouldn’t be here today if it were not for Cannabis Indica I used to keep nausea at bay so I can take my pharmaceuticals. Nothing else worked.
