It’s pretty easy to see how they gamed this number. Just declare that over a million people are no longer “in” the labor force. (Actually 1.18 million - see thread a few up from this one.)

Yes, it is easy to see, BUT ...

The average person is NOT a news junkie, and thus, only hears what the MSM are reporting -- which probably do not include that 1.18 million decline.

It is going to be up to the Republican nominee to sell the economic/joblessness facts, a task Republicans typically have a difficult time doing.

Clinton couldn't get reelected in early 1996. Obama couldn't get reelected in early 2012. The first one happened to be false. The second one could also be.

The GOP has an uphill battle for November, and the mountain will only get steeper as the election approaches.
