Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn is pretty much Lebanese. (The ones I knew were Catholic, like Doug Flutie and Danny Thomas.) The Brooklyn Museum is right in downtown Brooklyn, about mile from the Brooklyn Bridge, and nowhere nearly as bad as the Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95). Near by is Grand Army Plaza, more than worth a visit. The Metropolitan Museum, 5th Avenue and 85th Street in Manhattan, has even better exhibits on semi-permanent loan from the Egyptian government. Might want to see them before they take them back.
