Indiana’s gain will be ILL-n-annoyed’s loss. Voters and businesses have feet and U-Hauls are plenty enough available.

The passage of Indiana's right-to-work law is an extraordinarily bitter defeat for the union brass. Less than a year ago, despite the fact that Hoosiers had elected substantial pro-right-to-work majorities to both chambers in 2010, union strategi

Hoorah for Mitch.

When he was elected, 7 years ago, on of the first things he did was eliminate the requirement for PUBLIC UNION MEMBERS to have to belong to a union or automatically have their money withheld for payment to the union.

Seven years later, 90% have STOPPED PAYING UNION DUES.

Anyone can see why the union all over the country are fighting so hard, they know without a gun to their heads, 85-90% of their members would leave and the union bosses and the demonRATs would be

It seems Democrats die in states with right-to-work laws.

This one will be in the history books, as a turning point away from collectivism. It’s the first of many dominos to fall, IMHO.

Unionism cannot work for the benefit of the employee, because the act of joining a union requires you to give up your right to have your labor, your effort, and your contribution judged as yours and yours alone. The act of joining represents a loss of individual property rights. And that may be ok, but should not be mandatory.

Count me as shocked. It never occured to me that the Indiana state legislature would pass this. There are a lot of blue collar Hoosiers who are socially conservative and pro-national security, but also pro-labor union. Will it backfire? I hope not.

It’s also up to Indiana employers to prove that the worst labor stereotypes about them are not true.

So far I’ve not seen any union idiocy downtown today at SB46.
Just a few Occupy idiots.
We’ve certainly got a lot more “one percenters” here in Indy than usual this weekend.
The small airports are clogged with private jets.
