Don't you find it odd Romney seems to know for a quick comeback--this takes time to research a come-back and the Newt people seem to give them the time they need..or maybe they are staying stuck on the same issues people are complaining about or perhaps too many, and too long, the same # of jabs which allows Romney's team standing ready for the next redelivery punch when Newt brings the same thing up ..again--Hit once and move on-they become too predictable.

Newt did compare himself to Aesop's tortoise meaning slow and steady. Turtles dont win races unless against other turtles

. As My Note regarding Twiter:
Schriefer said: "Moreover, the increased attention to communications in Twitter has changed the campaign's dynamics relative to previous election cycles. Schriefer said he finds the popular microblog "an invaluable tool," but also a "little scary" insofar as reaction time has to be exceptionally fast to respond to events successfully in the news cycle. Still, he appreciates being able to get perspectives from sources "left, right and center" in real time, and also to see what political reporters are thinking about."- hks.harvard.edu That is where Twitter comes into play.

Not the best symbiosis we could engineer

There's much that doesn't look good on our side...but no different, unfotunately, then when Obamas Hollywood pitches the big bucks to him let alone his money funneled thru foreigners in the washing machine.

The headline here is that the NY Times thinks Massachusetts is a “battleground” state. Can we say “out-of-touch?”

Not really. Mass. is a battleground state in the legalized gambling wars.

I wish I had some of Adelson’s money, instead of vice versa.

This game of billionaire musical chairs, seemingly influencing or controlling the campaigns of both Republican and Democrat presidential candidates through Super PACs, contrasts unfavourably with Canada.

In Canada, the maximum individual political donation is $5,000. There are no Super PAC-like entities. The Conservative Party under Prime Minister Stephen Harper gains its strength, and a huge funding advantage over the other parties, through millions of individual donations in the range of $25 to $200.

It is much more democratic. A Newt in Canada would be much stronger versus a Mitt.

Herman has been aligned with the Koch Bros for years now, see link in #13, Not that there is anything wrong with that for a good cause.

Update: Las Vegas (CNN) -- CNN projects that Mitt Romney will win the Nevada Republican presidential caucuses based on results and entrance polling.

With 10% of the results in, Romney had about 48% of the vote while Rep. Ron Paul and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich were in a tight race for second with 21% and 20% of the vote, respectively. Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, who had largely bypassed the state, had 11% of the vote. Those numbers were gathered from vote counters at caucus sites across the state. CNN

What if Santorum had shown up?

Plus Ron Paul had been spending time up in Maine
drawing big crowds and he and Newt are running close in Nevada where Newt spent big money.

Today a Paul spokesperson said he would not take one penny away from financing our National Security, or social security which had gone into the general fund, or make the sole decision to send troops to war nor was it up to the UN to decide [we did go into Libya, Africa] and if they were sent to make sure the troops had what they NEEDED to keep safe...that he backed the surge; he talked about how he did not vote for a bail out or to raise the debt ceiling and could have the debt paid off in 3 years after he was elected---he got cheers.

One younger guy was interviewed [his base] was a former Dem would register Republican to vote for Paul. Paul is really running against Romney in Maine and Ron's applause was louder than those speaking for Romney in one area I know of. Paul is a valuable man to have around for any of the candidates. But maybe not so if big money with special interests are in play,

That ME race could be close. It was more about the issues without the gotcha punches.

Newt had written the state off as supposedly Romney territory and his speaker was dull and cant remember one thing he said. Not that ME means much in the grand scheme of things to most.

Highlight: This 13 year old girl sang the National Anthem and she was so small in stature with this huge voice right on key all the way up--a star is born, you could hear country in her voice-- she was awesome gave you goose bumps, could make a patriot weep!

Defeating 0bama is not enough when you are just replacing 0bamaCare with RomneyCare.

The establishment is trying to ensure the status quo continues, no matter which side wins.

Obama has brought them out of the woodwork so to speak publicly on their endorsements or open plan to kick him out of office. Did we know before of these meetings like mentioned here near Palm Springs that have been going on for some time now? Herman Cain also had to be bigger than I thought if with the Koch Bros since 2005. I like Cain.

Meanwhile The First Lady appeared on Ellen and doing push ups with Ellen. 25-20, The First Lady over Ellen. Could you see Jackie O or the Bush First Ladies in that scenario?

Now Obama can say he runs on donations from the folks, like his campaign guy [?] who recently reacted to $1B reported supposedly in the war chest, it was inaccurate and retracted to a quarter of that, not to scare off small donors.

Its a class warfare—big capitalist match set in motion

Obama gone the Market could go “to the Moon” as Gleason would say.

Now Obama can say he runs on donations from the folks

My sympathy this evening was with Newt, having to supplicate to his "patron" in LV who is privately whispering sweet nothings to the other side. In another world where there is a cap on donation size, Newt could rely on his money bombs to be on an even field with Mitt who would be doing the same. Newt would make his case to the public in general, not a potentate. Of course this is second nature to Mitt, who brags about lunching with money center bank presidents. A man of true principal is going to lose to Mitt playing that game, because the money guy is eventually going to ask for your soul.

There is a better way.

“The researchers for Newt are not keeping him safe”

Could Romney have sent spies to work for Newt to gum up his campaign?

The signals from Mr. Adelson, whose politics are shaped in large part by his support for Israel

I will not lie...whenever I see that...I don;'t like it.

We all support Israel as decent folk in a sea of violent jackasses

but I just don't like putting it that way

Decent Jews here are patriots for America first, believe in God and traditional culture here and then Israel falls into place naturally.

But I see this all the time..David Mamet does this...his support of Israel made him switch...not his love of us and our legacy.

Sorry...flame away...I'm not qualifying this one

If I as a bigtime Goy Cracker said my main concern was the US support of my motherland and not here I would be in for it..

Free elections are bought now, and only manipulated for our viewing pleasure, to appear as if the people really had a fair shot.>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Is this not a precursor to swivel war?/S

We may have a fair shot yet.

The missing piece of the puzzle is "where does the LDS stand on Israel?"

Actually, the LDS are very close to Israel -

But if they think mittens is, they'll be betting on the wrong horse.

Newt is the one the would stick with Israel.

We are battling some very duplicitous and evil entities - This country is in the most danger of it's 'lifetime.'

We;d better not just work hard, but prayer day and night
