Isn’t Paul ahead of Santorum?

Nope.
Anyone with a thinking brain can plainly see that Gingrich is winning in typically conservative states and Romney in typical idiot liberal states.
We are watching a movie while I also check FR, Gingrich is staying in - right?

Romney at 37% right now. In 2008 he got 51%.

I gurantee that is Mitt ends 10% or so down from 08, showing that Romney is weak indeed, you will not find the MSM bringing this up at all: this includes Beck, especially FOX and disappointingly, Rush.

Thanks for posting that.

Not sure where they get this healthcare is guaranteed by the government thing. Promoting the General Welfare is a concept in the preamble, not an article of the Constitution.

Used to be if you didn’t have access to a physician, or couldn’t afford one, and no charitable organization stepped in you got worse and died.

For a Believer, that’s not a bad option in any age. (I know, easier to say than do- I’ve maintained insurance for my dependents and myself though I haven’t seen a doctor in 15 years or more).

Guess they can fine me and take my property if I don’t pay..

Everyone seems to be so afraid of getting sick and dying. Guess what, folks- we’re all going to do just that!

“Since when is 37% overwhelming?”

Since that 37% will translate in to hundreds of hours of media repeating the meme over and over, you tell me.

More importantly, you’ll note that of 55,000 people in Carson County, only 1,500 turned out at the caucus?

A few years ago I debated moving to Nevada for work in construction. Just a couple of weeks ago my wife and I went to Vegas for the SHOT Show.

It was sad seeing half finished Casinos/Hotels on the Strip. Kinda like framing a house and then leaving it there though it was rusting girders and infrastructure.

Yep, Romney will help all the Mexican Nationals out in Vegas. What was it??? Viva McCain oops!... Viva Romney!!!

I thought the delegates were proportionally given. Is that not correct?

It looks like Mitt is on track to win about 42% and 18,200 caucus supporters. This compares with over 51% and 22,600 caucus supporters in 2008. Not particularly impressive.

We'll see if the results change as more precincts report in. But that's my prediction for now. We'll see how close I am.

As a note if Mitt gets 41% now and had 51% in 08, then in 08 he had 25% more than this year. If it was Newt that is all you would hear about. As it is, the MSM will never mention any comparisons.

As a P.S. I hope Sarah shows with Newt tonight!!! A little early, but will happen. She wont be VP but a campaigner for Newt.

The Washington Post idioter must have instructed reporter Dan Balz to put on his kevlar & horse-hide, chrome-tanned knee pads before fellating, I mean, writing this Mittens campaign ad.
(”And Dan, make sure you use the word “overwhelming” as many times as possible!”)

“overwhelming” adjective
1. overpowering, strong, powerful, towering, vast, stunning, extreme, crushing, devastating, shattering, compelling, irresistible, breathtaking, compulsive, forceful, unbearable, uncontrollable
2. vast, huge, massive, enormous, tremendous, immense, very large, astronomic, humongous or humungous (U.S. slang)

I find it interesting the Romney’s margin of victory statewide is about 10%.
His Mormon advantage here is about 20% of the total electorate.
He has not won in every county.
Hardly an “Overwhelming” victory.

Newt had a weak organization here, I tried to get a yard sign but none were available.
If Newt had a strong organization he might have won Nevada DESPITE the Mormon advantage for Romney!

Romney ran a LOT of ads, ALL negative, I saw very few ads for Newt.

My overall take is that Newt still has a shot, but he needs a more active grass-root campaing and more ads, he needs funds, DONATIONS!

He has to get more than 50% to have an “overwhelming” victory ..30% of the voters are Mormon

Nobody is mindlessly calling for Paul to drop out, or confusing him for one of the “not-Romney” conservative alternatives. So I tend to ignore him.

I bet he does well in Maine as well.

Romney wins in Nevada, the same State that returned Harry Reid to the Senate.

We know where their sympathy’s lie.

You're welcome. I can't speak for Santorum, but 4 minutes in at http://electad.com/videos/rick-santorum-post-debate-interview-with-sean-hannity-january-16-2012/ Santorum speaks for himself by calling Gingrich's Social Security privatization plan a new entitlement program because it entitles taxpayers to keep money they would otherwise be paying to the government.

“The first weeks of the Republican race have played out at the pace of a sprint. But the primary-caucus calendar slows to a walk in February”

What makes you think said WaPo idioter desires any of your mentioned protection?

Me thinks he’s turned on by Romney words such as “forceful” and “uncontrollable”, maybe even irresistable....

Even though Mitt now has SS protection I’d still like to say FUMR!!!
