There are pockets of righteousness left in the DOJ, for sure. However, these clean-outs are by nature self-limiting. Who knows what crimes Sal is really guilty of? Perhaps he didn't divvy up the swag according to the notion of someone higher on the hack food chain; appointed the wrong relative to the wrong job, etc. Look for more of this as the blacks and hispanics start to outnumber corned beef and pasta fazool people and want in! As soon as Sal fingers a few of the others the powers-that-be wish punished, his sentence will be reduced and he will be back after a short while, splitting his time between the Cape and Florida.
The only way to clean up MA is to use the tactics Mussolini employed in Sicily to temporarily end the Mafia. That is shoot every third suspect and if that doesn't work go to half, exile the rest to rocky volcanic isles, moving any remaining women and children to an Alp. That really is not going to happen. Slight change in the roster and it's "Game On!"
