Slutwalkers focused on wrong aspect of rape

When Slutwalkers paraded bare-breasted on the streets of many cities, focusing on unclothed or barely dressed women not inviting rape, they should have been protesting that rape was being under reported because of an archaic definition of sexual assault used by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that was created over 80 years ago.

KEYWORDS: femalerape; malerape; rape; sexualassault
At that time, the FBI defined rape as the ‘carnal knowledge of a female, forcibly and against her will’, a term narrower than that used by most police departments. The result was an under reporting of rape which lead to underfunding of efforts to catch rapists and assist rape victims.

I’m confused. Are they trying to criminalize rape?

Yes, in a perfect world women should be able to dress in the sluttiest outfit they could find and not have to worry about rape. Also, in a perfect world I should be able to walk through the roughest part of the ghetto at night wearing a Rolex and thumbing through a large wad of $100 bills and not have to worry about getting robbed. But unfortunately, we don't live in a perfect world...

“re they talking about rape, or rape rape?”

What they are ‘talking’ is mere LiberalSpeak.

What their goal seems to be is making it possible for nearly anyone to become a criminal if a female gets a case of post-coital blues, AKA ‘Sluts Remorse’, Lawyers Dream Case Syndrome, Prosecutor/Prosecutrix Wet Dream Case Syndrome,ad nauseam.

Stop that!

Common sense is prohibited when discussing rape.
