Roland Martins call to attack men that liked a David Beckham ad has prompted the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation to demand that CNN fire the commentator. It all started with a tweet Martin sent after Beckhams commercial aired during the Super Bowl : If a dude at your Super Bowl party is hyped about David Beckhams H&M underwear ad, smack the ish out of him!

Most normal people are disgusted by homosexuals, especially the disease-vectoring males. The Sandusky rape of a dozen boys didn’t do much for their characteristic obsession with the very young either.
So by this deduction, either tatoos are for gays? Or the risque women they showed were for the gays as well?
“I thought this was about Roland Martin B.A.S.S. Master Champion”
So did I. Before I opened this, I’m thinking how did the MSM pick up a tweet from a fisherman?
LOL! So did I! First I wondered who would be monitoring Roland’s tweets and then I wondered when in the hell he became affiliated with CNN.
Maybe he’s trolling.
This is why the entertainment industry is pushing so the idea of black gays on many of its tv shows. It’s outright propaganda and they need to change the memes in the black communities to tolerate homosexuality.
Question: Who shops at H & M?
Answer: Women.
Question: Do most men usually buy their own underwear?
Answer: No. Their wives/girlfriends do.
Question: Do women care what sport he plays?
Answer: No. They know him mostly as a guy who dominates gossip magazines. They like the way he looks.
Analysis: H & M executives know that millions of their core demographic - women under 40 - will be watching the Super Bowl. Therefore, they designed a commercial pitched to that demographic.
I still wonder how Michael Jordan gets away with a Hitler mustache in those ads that nobody even acknowledges, much less criticizes.
I guess free speech is only for GLAAD and their ilk.
Anyone else must be silenced.
You’re probably right. Still, if all they were looking for was a great body on an athelete, why not pay one of these martial arts stars? They have bodies that are chiselled out of rock. I’m sure they would have been cheaper to pay than David Beckham.
In the end, what do I really care? It’s their money to do with as they feel justified. I guess I was just musing out loud and what I feel is the continuing pre-occupation with some media elites who seem hell bent on shoving a sport (soccer) down America’s throats that we have shown repeatedly we really don’t care about. I’d rather see the women’s soccer. There’s always a chance that after scoring a goal, one of those nice looking gals will rip off their shirts like the men do. That’s about as interested as I can get in the sport...
Not tah I care, either (thought the ad was stupid), but the reason they used Beckham and not another person is that it is his clothing line.
My only question about the commercial is why would any company spend 3.5 million dollars on a commercial showing a sports star no one cares about?

Hilarious.
One word: women.
A ton of women watch the super bowl. They will be buying what beckham is selling whether they know what sport he plays or not.
Jordan does Hanes commercials.
I was thrilled to see this commercial. It’s about time they showed a man in his underwear. I’m so sick of seeing half-naked women!
If you are female, I can understand your angst. haha
