(Tom Brady's wife) Gisele Bundchen blasts Pats WRs

New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker was so upset over dropping a crucial pass late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI, he nearly started crying at the podium.

Welker isn't going to get any pity from quarterback Tom Brady's wife, Gisele Bundchen, though.

After her prayers for a Patriots' championship went unanswered, Bunchen lashed out at the team's receiving corps for failing to haul in her husband's passes. While waiting for an elevator at Lucas Oil Stadium, Bundchen was being heckled by Giants fans when she spoke to people in her group.

"My husband can not f------ throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times," Bundchen said in a video captured by theinsider.com, a gossip website.

“We had an opportunity. The ball is right there," Welker said. "I just have to make the play. It’s a play I’ve made 1,000 times. Then, in the biggest moment of my life, I don’t come up with it. It’s discouraging.”

“It hit me right in the hands," he added. "It’s a play I never drop, I always make. In the most critical situation, I let the team down.”

I'm not a fan of either team.

Belichick draws $500,000 fine, but avoids suspension

"It hit him on the hands...."

True enough, but only after he leaped and twisted in the air for it. IMO it was a pretty tough catch, although one he's certainly capable of.

Cheaters? Are you basing this on anything, or just a Giants fan?

I'm not sure but I think the illegal video taping may be what's referenced.

If it’s the pass to Welker that I’m thinking of, it was a poorly thrown pass - too high and behind the receiver, so he kind of had to twist his body back to make the catch. It was catchable, but not an easy catch.

Google: “Spygate”. Patriots won 3 Super before they were caught cheating, and 0 since.

I guess next time Tom has the boys over, Wes will have to use the kid’s bathroom and not the fancy one.

I hope Robert Kraft takes her criticism to heart and trades Wes Welker and Rob Gronkowski to the Giants. Who needs those losers, eh Gisele? I’m sure Kraft will welcome the football know-how of a Brazilian supermodel.

Add to that, most pro models are extremely thin, and often are not all that attracive in person. The camera adds weight so they have to be near anorexic, and likewise their stark facial features are not always as beautiful in person as they appear in photos.

I’m just guessing Brady does not like what she said. He’s extremely disciplined.

Bill Belichick should have been banned from the NFL.

Why are Giants fans heckling the wife of a player? That stinks. (Her conduct in response was not good either.)

IMHO Gisele is the classic embarrassing wife. She didn’t have the common sense, or the class, to realize a crowd of Giants fans harrassing her after the big game was not a group she needed to respond to, and then on top of it she responded by backbiting her husband’s teammates.

"My husband can not f------ throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time.

Why not?

Brett Favre did.

His first pass, in fact.

What a sweetheart!

If she’s this brutal to Brady’s teammates when they falter, imagine how sweet she’ll be to Tom when his skills decline, (and they will).

Without Welker, the Patriots aren’t in the Super Bowl. Football is a team game, you win as a team, you lose as a team.

Funny, no one noticed Tim Tebow’s receivers couldn’t catch fleas in a dog pound.

With a woman like that, you look — you don’t listen.

You hope she uses the O vowel often, too.
