I used to be a GM product-buying guy, but found out that Ford vehicles lasted twice as long, with half the problems.

None of the Chevys were trouble free. My current Crown Vic has 155,000 on it, and not a single problem so far.

(The car is called the 'million mile car' by the cabbies, who typically drove them between 400 to 500,000 between rebuilds.)

What do you think about the government using your tax dollars to bail out GM, then handing the company to the unions to operate? And what has been your experience with GM products post-bail out?

We own Fords, GM, and Toyo’s. Love the Ford and Toyo. Will never buy another Government Motors again.

I plan on making my next car a Ford. And I will not ever, under any circumstances, buy a Government Motors (or Chrysler) car.

Does Joel Ewanik have a union background? He sounds like he comes from their ranks.

GM sounds like its befactor(obama)...if you can win the race on merit and accomplishment, then tear down your opponents.

GM is number one on my $h!+List...I'll never buy another one, ever.

GM - obama - hits their biggest threats the hardest.

which featured a group of Chevrolet drivers that survived the predicted 2012 Mayan Apocalypse while their Ford-driving friend “Dave” didn’t make it.

GM - will survive a world wide catastrophe just like the other rats and cockroaches.

I remember telling my father that when the Japanese car companies started making full size trucks, that would spell the end for the Detroit car makers. Toyota comes out with the Tundra, Nissan comes out with the Titan and the Detroit boys are declaring bankruptcy. I like the fact that Ford didn’t have to take my tax money to keep going, but they still have UAW building them. The UAW is part of THE GREAT DEMOCRAT MONEY MAKING MACHINE!

"GM Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer Joel Ewanik"

[snort], well listen up Joel: you and Gov't Motors have the sorriest excuse for a
poster boy anyone could ask for and we won't soon forget it OR your lousy cars:

My brother is a lineman for a large southern electric utility.

His company made the mistake of purchasing GM trucks, and my brother has to put up with GM “quality”.

Of course, my brother recently purchased an F 150.

There's a reason virtually every police department in the country bought them. They were tanks -- brought down by the FMG (Federal Mileage Gestapo.) I've got my eye out for one. There are plenty of them owned by elderly drivers and well-cared for.

Very nice-looking to my increasingly older eyes, too.

Ford blah, blah, blah, blah. GMC Obama motors blah, blah, blah.

LOL.... I’ll stay with my 2010 Toyota Tundra 4x4 CewMax TRD 400 hp monster, made in Texas, by non-union hands.

I’m in the Boycott GM Forever club too. Their commercials do not matter; GM and Chrysler are dead to me.

When the apocalypse scenario hits and if I’m one of the lucky survivors, I will go to any car dealer and pick any truck except a Government Motors piece of decroded crap. I have a new Toyota coming this month, but I like Fords too.

When I go 4 wheeling, I see Fords, Dodges, Toyotas, Nissans, Mazdas, IH Scouts, Suzukis, Isuzus, even Ladas. When we see a GM product, 8 times out of 10 it’s on the side of the road/trail broken down, or the body has separated from the frame.

Buy a Chev, you’ve bought the best: You’ll drive a mile, then walk the rest.
