When I learned that Madonna aka the Grand Priestess of the music industry would be performing at the Superbowl halftime show, I thought: This should be interesting. And it was. While most were amazed by a woman in her fifties dancing around with LMFAO and others were annoyed at her lip-syncing, I was interested with something else: the flurry of symbolism flashed to billions of viewers worldwide. While most considered Madonnas performance as an entertaining interlude to the most important football game of the year, those blessed with symbol-literacy will probably agree with the following statement: Madonnas halftime show was a big celebration of the Illuminati industry and of its Grand Priestess, Madonna.
A week before the Superbowl, Madonna described on Anderson Cooper the spiritual importance she attributed to her halftime show:
The Superbowl is kind of like the Holy of Holies in America. Ill come at halfway of the church experience and Im gonna have to deliver a sermon. Itll have to be very impactful.

Football halftime is more appropriately a time to feature marching bands.
Pop singers on the Superbowl field are comparable to clowns running up and down the aisles at the New York Philharmonic.
The author isn't trying to frighten you he is pointing out though poorly that in today's image saturated world symbolism is a powerful tool to influence minds and hearts
From a personal view point...I watched the show and basically thought along the same lines as the author
I say bring back the marching bands at haftime. I can’t remember the last time a superbowl halftime show was any good.
Madonna, Madonna I am trying to remember who she was. Oh thats right she is the entertainer who used to sing in her underwear long ago when she was hot.
I turned the channel after the first 2-minutes of her circus act. 60-Minutes had a wonderful interview with Dolly Parton - much more interesting.
The article was pretty interesting with the explanation of the scene which is described as a sermon by Ce Lo Green and Madonna. The church choir was probably borrowed for using it’s authenticy. The entire thing rang of the cult of satan.
I think GaGag will be smart enough to take the money and run long before she reaches 50, and not be an old hag embarrassing her self like Ma Dona or should I say Grand Ma Dona.
I find it amazing nobody is noting how she ripped “Oh Mickey” the cheerleading music video.
Madonna takes excellent care of herself, while Gaga is so drugged up I doubt she’ll even make it to 50.
The immediate words that came to mind were buffoons and clowns. It just seems that this dancing “style” has had its time and they need to move on. Reinventing vaudeville isn’t the answer.
Whomever thought she could dance on stilts should be fired.
There was one point where she almost lost it at the top of the bleacher thing she was dancing on.
Was Madonna imitating the goddess Istar, the fertility goddess during half time?
Was Madonna imitating the goddess Ishtar, the fertility goddess during half time?
Madonna sucked (for lack of a better word).
The Who was about the music. Madonna was about Madonna.
In the movie “Kingpin”, Woody Harrellson’s character slept with the old lanndlady because they could not pay the rent. Afterward she had a special signal, reminiscent of that experience. Madonna reminds me of that landlady.
” The entire thing rang of the cult of satan.”
Agreed.
Whether the Illuminati is real or not it was a big worship service for the Prince of this World.
Indeed! I’m no nothing about the so called illuminate, but I can spot a cult when I see one.
“Madonna is an incredible story of a person who cant sing, dance or act becoming fabulously wealthy. Without the media to promote her, Madonna wouldve been a third-rate act at a smokey, cheap seaport dive in Thailand.”
Made famous by taking off her clothes. I guess she doesn’t “get” it. She kept herself covered up for the halftime show. Which made it an exercise in “she looks pretty good for a 54 year old.” Yawn....
Madonna’s new number has the weak link in her review. It crossed over the line of vulgar, instead of over-the-top. Loved the entrance, loved the marching bands, loved the crescendo. The lip synching was simply disappointing. Tom Petty’s half-time show remains firmly in first place.
