So, what do you think about our conservative candidate?

Just had the 10th - pictures are on my profile. Only nine at home, though: Anoreth is a Gunner’s Mate, now, doing recruit training (*snicker*) and armory maintenance at Cape May.

DP says the results were good for Santorum yesterday. I haven’t hit the news pages yet.

Congratulations! What are you guys doing for wheels? Have you upgraded to a schoolbus?

Santorum won a trifecta!

15-passenger van - a Ford. I was in a collision in October of ‘09 - someone pulled out of oncoming traffic and drove right into me - and had to replace the Chevy. At least he didn’t hit someone in a compact car, because they’d have been dead, instead of just bruised and very angry.

Very encouraging votes!

I hope you’re right, pgkdan

Looks like I was right. Well MOSTLY right...I did say that Rick would finish second to Romney in CO!

But seriously, I think that Santorum showed the world he can, and indeed he should, be the GOP candidate to face obama. His victory in CO. demolished Mitt's aura of inevitablity while at the same time showing his strength against the rest of the field. No delegates were awarded last night, that's true....but credibility was the bigger prize and Rick won that in spades.

His victory in CO. demolished Mitt's aura of inevitability ...

And that's so important, because it is just an insubstantial aura, not based on any history of winning elections outside a psychotically liberal state.

Mitt Romney's "electability" reminds me of Barack Obama's "intelligence": every commentator says it, like a religious mantra, but there's no evidence to back it up, and lots of reasons to believe the opposite.
