Gingrich's problem so far has been the millions of dollars of false negative ads run by Romney in Iowa and Florida!

Wrong! There will ALWAYS be negative attack ads in politics. Ask John Adams and Thomas Jefferson! Newt's problem has been the horrible way he's handled those attacks. He blew it. And if he can't take the mild incoming from Romney how in the hell do you think he's going to handle the nukes that obama and pelosi and the msm will drop on him in the fall?

I think Newt was taken aback by Romney's dishonesty in Iowa...and probably taken aback by Romney's massive spending and dishonesty in Florida.

That said, this race isn't over by a long shot.

Romney has run out of Mormon states for a while and Newt has an opportunity to recover.

But I agree that Newt must do battle against Romney despite Romney's dirty tactics. The Left will be dirtier than Romney by an order of magnitude.
