My daughter did a speech on this subject and recieved a “1” in UIL for it.

she goes to the tournement of champions next weekend with the same speech I will show this to her.

Looks like she gleaned a lot of the same info for her speech.

Thank You for posting this. I remember those patriotic school mornings reciting the pledge of allegiance.

And given the trajectory of the post Christian -American Court recently “WE NEED GOD IN AMERICA AGAIN” as Carmon sings it.
i.e the 9th circus three judge panel saying Prop8 is “unconstitutional” -i.e. that Ga. Court saying Obama became a natural born citizen at birth. We were established “a Christian nation” as found by the Court in 1892, Holy Trinity case, upheld by review 1931 US v. Macintosh, alluded to in 1952 Zorach v. Clauson, cited as controlling legal precedent @1991 Chapman v. the US. I can only conclude somewhere between 1991
and today our Court seems to have “forgotten God”

On April 22, 1951, New York City, the directors of the Knights of Columbus adopted a resolution changing the Pledge and urging Congress and the President to make it official.
