Three "reconciliation meetings" were held at the El-Ameriya village police headquarters. They were attended by Salafi and Muslim Brotherhood representatives from neighboring villages, as well as church representative. Muslims demanded the eviction of all Coptic inhabitants from the village because "Muslim honour had been damaged."

What has been quietly going on under the radar since 2009 in Moracco is much the same. We were informed of those efforts back then whereby the government leaders of towns seized homes and all property of christians who had run orphanages for YEARS with full permission only for the reason that they were converting muslim children to christianity. It was clearly shown in the court efforts that kids dropped off as infants were NOT muslim they were new borns so that they should not even be considered as such but to the leaders they were BORN MUSLIM...apparently normal thinking people missed the genetis religion class that shows this. Regardless, the entire orphanage was seized, the homes of the staff members and nearly 100% of their property was taken without redress. This is “moderate” Morocco.
