“No, my comments were about deadly, ineffective poisons being pushed off on an unknowing public.”

You have no idea what this product is. You’re just mouthing off like a Luddite. If you do not like medicines then go die somewhere without them. The rest of us enjoy having modern medicines. If one of them can reverse Alz then I am all for it.

“Cut Alzheimer’s Risk by 394 Percent”

OK, but what happens when cutting it by 394% isn’t enough and you still get Alz? Suffer and die because some Luddite like you that can’t seem to keep up with technology “because it’s just too hard” said so?

I prefer science over old wives tales and ignorance.

I already knew someone who was finished off with it; that’s enough.

Curcumin and coconut oil have been curing it for over a year; read the posted info.

Niacinamide appears to be preventing it, but that would be impossible to prove, I’m sure you realize.

Have an example?

Of course not, because abuse of technology is not really “science,” no matter how much you whine.

Living bodies need life source substances to heal; drugs will never do it, because healing is a cell growing process that cannot be helped by alien poisons no matter how costly their manufacture may be.

It so happens that I work for a Clinical Research Organization. “Big Pharma” contracts out study related work to companies such as mine. When my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, it hit her hard. She took a major step off the reality cliff in a short period of time. She didn’t know who I was, didn’t know that she was in her own home, and lost all of her memories from the past 30 or so years along with a severe impact on her short term memory. Remembering items from just moments ago was out of her reach. She was prescribed some medication to help with the symptoms. Once I saw the drug name, I looked it up and found that the company I work for had carried out the studies and got this drug through the FDA approval process. It didn’t cure the disease. Nothing currently cures it, but it did help her tremendously. Her short term memory is much improved and her ability to function has also vastly improved. I’m proud to be part of that “Big pharma” that you so believe pushes magic pills and would never actually cure something if they could. “Big Pharma”... hmm.. that sounds like a phrase I’d expect to hear from an Occupy protestor, not a Freeper...

Yes. And the teleplay with Cliff Richardson as Charlie.

I remember when television and music was aimed towards grown ups... dating myself for certain : /

But it was when I was a kid, and I loved it.

Go figure.

May God give us strength.

The inflammation response to cancer and the several treatments, both medical and alternative, that target inflammation having been noted for some degree of success, leads me to wonder about inflammation and Alzheimer’s Disease. Turmeric is a powerful natural anti-inflammatory that is also used for the treatment of both cancer and Alzheimer’s.

Who do you think bankrolls all that lab equipment?

They lead them all by the nose with their checkbooks.

I'm curious as to how risk of ANY kind can be cut by 394%. The maximum possible reduction in the chance of occurrence of a particular event is 100%.

For instance, reducing accident risk from 16 in 100,000 to 8 in 100,000 is a 50% reduction. Reducing it from 16 in 100,000 to zero is still ‘only’ a 100% reduction. Unless someone is playing games and misrepresenting their numbers, there is no way to show a 394% reduction in risk.

Then again, maybe a 394% reduction in the risk of Alzheimer's mean you can actually reduce OTHER people's risk just by being in the same room with them. ; - )
