Here’s what GB said today, and I agree with him. This was a CALCULATED move by zero... they knew that it would cause an uproar and that it would motivate his base. (just like the recent Susan Komen debacle, coincidence?? Hmmm.) It detracts from the clusterfudge that is his economic legacy, and riles up the faithful feminazis. Then he does a mea culpa and says he will back off (only to mandate that insurance companies provide contraceptives and abortions for “free”). This was planned all along, and erodes our liberties while making some sheeple think they “won” the battle, but really we are losing the war.
Who is GB?...I agree with your post but who is GB?
I’ve read before about how the “Cynics” took over the roman senate.
It was a disaster then and a disaster now. I’m going to do some research and get back to you on this thread when I find some good correlations.
Obama probably figures that the net result of the controversy will be to drive up his support among women more than he loses among Catholics.
It could also be a calculation that this will improve Rick Santorum's chances to become the Republican nominee, on the theory that he would be easier to beat than Romney or Gingrich. But this ruling came out weeks ago when Santorum was not getting much attention (there were then more than 4 candidates).
