Bless her drug addled, troubled heart, you could see this coming but I thought she’d do herself in unintentionally.

That woman could sing, though. Too bad the pernicious Big Entretsinment drug culture destroyed her.

There are plenty of people in the entertainment industry that never develop problems with drugs/alcohol and there are many who quit entirely/recover such as Eric Clapton, Elton John, Bonnie Raitt, Ringo Starr, Bill Ward (Black Sabbath), John Williams (songwriter)and others.

The only solution is quitting entirely. Obviously Houston never got that part down, as recent pictures show.
