Well, the victims of Katrina had evil, white Republicans keeping their foots on the necks of the downtrodden victims. Not so in Japan.

WOW! From what I’ve read, it is also being done for a fraction of one of our ‘bailouts’.
This is what happens when you don’t have an EPA to deal with.

You know there were a lot of people who said this would be the final nail in the coffin for Japan.

A stark way to learn a simple lesson about construction. Never build on a floodplain, it’s called a floodplain for a reason.

My guess is China. We'll eventually see products from the recycled debris here, even the radioactive stuff.
These can't be real. Everyone knows rebuilding can only be done with loads of American taxpayer's dollars.

With any luck it hits San Diego right around the DNC coronation convention.

The Japanese have a “Stop whining and do something about it” attitude.
Others just sit around and wait for help.

No doubt that is true. If they ever totally opened the books and let us see where all the money went the waste, fraud, and abuse would be blinding.

There was a HUGE amount of fraud with large amounts being detected. And of course the Obamamite administration recently announced it was forgiving the debt stemming from that fraud for any fraudster with an annual income of not more than $90,000. Of course that includes most of the Democrats’ voting bloc in southern Louisiana.
You can’t make this stuff up!
